Why buy from Conservatory Outlet
Not only do we offer a 10 year guarantee on our product range. But
we also offer the most comprehensive back up guarantee with all
conservatory and double glazing installations - the 123 Guarantee!
1. £1000 Security Guarantee
With a Conservatory Outlet
installation we are so confident in the security of your home that, in
the unlikely event of a break-in succeeding through failure of our
products, we will pay the cost (up to £500) of replacing or repairing
the forced window or door, and pay you £500 towards any inconvenience
caused!
2. 10 Year Manufacturer's Guarantee
In addition to your dealers standard guarantee we offer a 10 year Conservatory Outlet manufacturer guarantee.
This guarantee covers all Conservatory Outlet supplied products
including window frames and hardware in the unlikely event that your
dealer cannot.
In other words, in the unlikely event that your Conservatory Outlet
dealer cannot honour the original agreement, then the Conservatory
Outlet’s manufacturer will guarantee its products for the remainder of
the term.
3. Insurance Backed Guarantee
Deposit indemnity insurance is automatically included in your contract at no additional cost.
Every Conservatory Outlet dealer offers you a 10 year guarantee
which covers you for any remedial works that may be required after the
installation of your windows, doors or conservatory is complete.
Conservatory Outlet dealers also offer a separate insurance backed
guarantee, so in the unlikely event that your Conservatory Outlet
cannot honour the original agreement, then the 10 year guarantee is
fully covered by an independent insurance company. Please speak to
your local dealer and ask for more information about the Insurance
Backed Guarantee Scheme they can offer you.
Separate insurance guarantees are regulated by the Financial
Services Authority (FSA) who are the independent watchdog who regulate
financial services.

FENSA Registered
Since April 1st, 2002, it has been a legal requirement under Building
Regulations for all replacement glazing fitted to your home to meet minimum
performance standards. Anyone who installs replacement windows or doors
must ensure, and in addition be able to prove, they comply with these
current thermal performance standards.
This is because of commitments
made by the Government under the Kyoto Treaty to reduce energy loss from
buildings and meet increasingly stringent national and global energy savings
targets. The only way to do this is to use a FENSA registered installer
and obtain a certificate either from the installer, FENSA
themselves or the relevant Local Authority Building Control Department.
When you come to sell your property, your buyer’s solicitor will
ask for evidence that any replacement glazing installed since April 1st
2002 complies with the Building Regulations. But don’t worry, because
as a FENSA registered installer, Conservatory Outlet is responsible for making sure
that the products that are fitted to your home comply with the rules.
We will issue your certificate of compliance to you once the installation
has been completed.
ELECSA Registered
From January 1st 2005 it has been a legal requirement under Building Regulations:
Part P, Electrical Safety in Dwellings, that all work carried out on fixed
electrical installations in dwellings complies with relevant standards.
Any electrical work, even if it’s minor, falls within this requirement
whether carried out by the householder or someone operating on their behalf,
even a family friend. Such electrical work must be both notified to and
individually approved by the relevant Local Authority Building Control
department.
The exception to this requirement is where the electrician concerned is
a registered “competent person”, allowed to self certify their
work as compliant. ELECSA is the body appointed by the Government which
controls the certification of such tradesmen who undertake such domestic
electrical installation work.
The people who carry out any electrical work on your property as part
of your contract with Conservatory Outlet will be ELECSA registered and thus authorised
to self certify their work. Our responsibility will be to notify the Local
Authority of the work at your property and issue you with the relevant
certificate of compliance. You must retain this document as part of your
household information pack and you may be asked to provide it as proof
of compliance when you come to sell your home.
